People that will drastically improve your life

Get a boost from the following...

01. Dax Shepard – Armchair Expert

Celebrate the messiness of being human.

The warmth, vulnerability and humor are only topped by the way his brain works and the introspecting questions he asks his guests. I have had so many free wonderful therapy breakthroughs from this guy. If you want to feel like you’re making a new friend and improving yourself along the way, check out Armchair Expert. I recommend to start at the beginning with February 14, 2018 Kristen Bell Episode 01. Right away you get the idea of two polar opposite perspectives that can still communicate together. There’s a silent misconception that everyone sees things in the same way. The first five epsiodes really gives you a great insight on where Dax comes from. I’ve been hooked since 2018.

Episodes You Shouldn’t Miss: Prince HarryWendy Mogel, (Can’t miss if you have kids), Bradley Cooper, John Kim (Angry Therapist),  Brené Brown, Yuval Noah Harari, Sam Harris

02. Dr. Huberman – Huberman Lab

Science based tools for everyday life.

Even if science is not your wheelhouse, the Huberman Lab is well worth diving into. You get a wealth of understanding on HOW your body works and WHY. This has been invaluable to me with anxiety. If I really have to try to convince you and pull teeth, his voice along will calm you down. If you DO like to learn about the deep dives and hacks, THIS IS FOR YOU.

Episodes You Shouldn’t Miss: Dopamine, Addiction (Even if you don’t have an addiction it’s VERY worth listening to.) Social Connecting & Bonding

03. Mastin Kipp

Transform Trauma into Purpose

Mastin has a lot of experiential data, biotech, functional medicine.

He works on the definition of trauma. Trauma is a wound. Like any wound and depending how you care for it that depends on how bad it gets.

Mastin has worked with over two million people in over 100 countries around the world.
Oprah loves him, I love him, and you will too. I personally get value out of his Instagram videos and his Podcast but you may prefer his website.

04. Marilyn French

Rewrites the views of feminism

I’ve read a lot of tasty deeply profound books. Nothing stands close for me than Beyond Power written by Marilyn French. It’s a dense book but will open your eyes and raise your consciousness to human history. It’s one of those books that has so much information you can only read it a little at a time. But it is absolutely worth it. They could teach a class on this book alone in school. It’s SUCH an eye opener.

05. Wim Hof

Reconnecting to ourselves, to others, and to nature.

Wim Hof’s story alone is worth looking into, but his infectious charisma will keep you digging for more. He started as an extreme athlete but his breathing technique and love of ice is where the story starts unfolding for you. It does look insane but I did the ice shower challenge and now I do them daily. The amazing feeling you get AFTER is what keeps me going back for more. His breathing technique is something I practice almost daily. I find meditating much easier to do afterwards. Sometimes I even fall asleep.

Start Here with this intro on YouTube, or see his Comic Book, then Download his app and try his breathing technique for free.  Wim’s Website
